Professor E. Ghabrial, Senior Specialist at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Pretoria and PretoriaSmile Orthodontics, has planted the seeds to advance postgraduate education in aligner treatment. This initiative has received strong support from key figures at the University of Pretoria's Oral Health Center. Together, they have forged a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Align Technology International.

This collaboration leverages digital technology and artificial intelligence to enhance postgraduate orthodontic students' training and treatment capabilities significantly. Integrating these advanced technologies promises to elevate the education and patient care standards in orthodontics. Prof. Ghabrial, with his extensive experience in Aligner treatment since 2017, is set to train postgraduate students in Invisalign treatment through the new MOU.

This innovative partnership marks a significant milestone in the field of orthodontics in Africa, setting a new standard for education and treatment.
