Prof Emad Ghabrial

Prof. Ghabrial has been a distinguished orthodontist in private practice since 1998, operating two premier practices in Pretoria: Queenswood and Lombardy Office Park in Pretoria East. Renowned for his expertise, he serves as an orthodontic consultant for orthognathic surgery and is an integral member of the Cleft Lip and Palate treatment team at Pretoria Academic Hospital.

In addition to his clinical work, Prof. Ghabrial is an active contributor to the dental community, delivering presentations, lectures, and publishing articles. He is also an Adjunct Professor and senior specialist in Orthodontics at the University of Pretoria.

Prof. Ghabrial’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Dentistry degree from Cairo University in 1984, a diploma in Conservative Dentistry in 1989, a specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Pretoria in 1997, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Practice Management in 2010. The University of KwaZulu-Natal awarded him a PhD in cleft lip/palate and craniofacial anomalies in 2020. His commitment to excellence has earned him a prominent reputation in private practice and academia.
