Will my medical aid cover braces?

Many medical aid plans offer an orthodontic benefit that can help cover the cost of treatment, including Invisalign, metal, or clear braces. However, some plans do not include orthodontic coverage.

Since coverage varies, it’s best to contact your medical aid provider to determine what is included in your plan.

Do clear braces cost more than metal braces?

Clear brackets are priced higher than traditional metal brackets due to their cosmetic nature. As a result, they are not eligible for financing and must be paid upfront. Please note that medical aids do not cover the additional cost for clear brackets.

Are there payment plans for Invisalign?

At PretoriaSmile Orthodontics, we do finance the Invisalign or Invisalign Teen as we do for braces.

How much do braces cost?

The cost depends on the severity of your condition, which the orthodontist will determine after an initial consultation.
